The YMCA of Brisbane works, from a base of Christian values, to provide opportunities for all people to grow in body, mind and spirit. The services we provide at the YMCA help fund the benevolent arm of our organisation, Y-Care (South East Queensland) Inc. Among other benevolent services, Y-Care provides facilities and programs for marginalised and disadvantaged young people in need of help as well as providing affordable accommodation for people who have been without a home.
At the YMCA we provide services to more than 700,000 participants annually. Such services include youth programs, Long Day Child Care, Family Day Care, In Home Care, Outside School Hours Care, Vacation Care, Limited Hours Care, a large range of sport and recreational activities, health and fitness, outdoor education and camping, vocational education and accredited training, hospitality, restaurants and hotel accommodation.
Formed in 1864, the YMCA of Brisbane services over 10,000 members of the community every week and operates programs from over sixty-five sites in South East Queensland. The YMCA of Brisbane employs more than 500 staff in various roles and appropriately qualified professional staff are engaged to maintain the highest quality standards.
