Y-Kindergym

YMCA KinderGym is for walkers to 5 years, designed to develop the whole child and is conducted in a safe, structured, multi-sensory environment where they can explore and practice skills safely in order to increase self confidence & self-esteem. One of the most unique components of KinderGym is the physical involvement of both the child and their adult caregiver. Child and adult interaction is a key developmental principle of which the KinderGym program has been developed & adpots the Gymnasytics Australia KinderGym guiding principles.

Y-Steps

Our Y-steps program provides a seamless pathway for you childs first experiences into gymnastics. Our gymnasts will be provided a challenging and exciting skills program which develops the foundations of gymnastics. Students are able to move through our steps program at their pace, but will be constantly motivated to reach for new levels of skills and experiences. Term reports on our student’s skill learning and improvement will be provided to parents.

Y-Competitive

Across our locations we offer both Mens & Womens Artistic Gymnastics. Our competitive teams programs provide an opportunity for members to train, perform and compete in the Australian National Levels (Level 3-10) at local, regional, state, National, and International tour events. Positions in our competitive team are open to all members who pass the physical ability development assessments.

Y-Cross Sports

Gymnastics training is a highly effective vehicle for fitness development for other sports and performance arts. Gymnastics participation is also a wonderful life-time fitness activity for any person. The variety of activities and “fields of play” are broad and ideal for adults from teens to seniors. Across our locations we offer Adult gymnastic fitness classes, Tumbling classes, Gym Fit classes for boys and girls, and Team Gym Competition Classes.

We’re kitted up to host birthday parties that won’t be forgotten. It’s double the fun but no clean up required. Our gymnastics parties are an energetic & unique spin on a traditional birthday event.
