YMCA Brisbane are inviting corporates and business partners to take part in our annual Charity Golf Day.

This will be the last time we hold this event at Victoria Park Golf Course as Brisbane City Council plans to repurpose the venue into a public and leisure space in late 2020.

This year in 2020, we will be raising funds to support the YMCA Schools’ Breakfast Program.

The YMCA Schools’ Breakfast Program has been running for 13 years and is currently being offered in more than 110 schools in south east Queensland provides meals to more than 10,000 students a week.

A significant number of children come to school without having had breakfast or a substantially healthy breakfast.

This is something they are not able to control and as a result these children are disadvantaged by hunger and poor nutrition. Not only does this affect their education, but it also affects their long term health and wellbeing.

Sadly, there are families and children who rely on this program’s existence, so its sustainability is crucial to them. To help ensure we continue to make a huge difference to children’s lives who are struggling with their education, we need your help.
