Vocational Schools

Journey to Employment

Operating across seven campuses located in Acacia Ridge, Ipswich, Kingston, North Lakes, Mango Hill and Victoria Point, specialist staff provide adjusted education programs and vocational training to students aged 12-18 years old.

YMCA Vocational School prepares students for long-term employment. Evidence-based wellbeing programs are also delivered to ensure students are mentally and physically healthy and able to live a purposeful life.

At the YMCA, young people will experience programs dedicated to enhancing practical and personal skills, at a pace that encourages school attendance, engagement, and confidence.

YMCA Vocational School students are provided with a wide range of opportunities to support their development via our three pillars.
We believe all young people have the right to achieve their full potential, irrelevant of circumstance.
